Woman gives birth to octuplets in SoCal hospital

As if seven babies weren’t enough, the eighth baby came as a BIG surprise to the new mommy to be! She is planning on breast feeding/pumping for all of them! Bless this woman!

She had 6 boys and 2 girls. I'm starting to think this may be a great way to get your family done in 1 shot. something to look into! :)

The citrus giant is making a sweet deal with children aged 7 to 12 — sell juice from a portable stand they ship and then donate the proceeds to a good cause. Their Take a Stand campaign recruited more than 15,000 kids from the United States and Canada in 2008.

Bran Flax Muffins

For all you healthy eaters out there that are looking for a snack for you or your kiddos... Davis loves these/good change from all the crackers.

1 1/2 c. unbleached white flour
3/4 c. Flaxseed Meal
3/4 c. Oat Bran
1 c. brown sugar
2tsp. baking soda
1tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. shredded carrots
2 apples peeled and shredded
1/2 c. raisins or craisins
1 c. nuts chopped/ optional
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

mix flour, flax,oat bran, brown sugar,, baking soda & powder, salt, and cinnamon in large bowl.

stri in carrots,apples, raisins and nuts.
combine milk, beaten eggs and vanilla. Pour liquid ingredients into dry. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake 350 for 15-20 min. yiels 15 med. muffins.
